Michigan Stone Ring

This ring was by Allie using a stone that was collected and cut from Lake Superior and sterling silver. 

I'm unsure of what this could be, but the dark maroon streak with glowing orange perimeters running through the middle is absolutely mind-blowing.

It's currently a size 10.
