Looking for a (literally) hands-on experience in creating your own custom jewelry? Schedule a private lesson at our beautiful studio in Framingham, MA. 

We believe jewelry making should be a more accessible practice for everyone. We offer lessons in jewelry making and lapidary for any skill level. (Cost per person goes down with multiple participants, so consider signing up with friends!)

Jewelry I: Intro to Jewelry Making

Starting at $325 per person

This class is 3 hours long and covers the following topics:

  • Studio safety & equipment operations
  • Fabricating, soldering, and surface finishing with sterling silver
  • Creating a ring, a pair of earrings, or a necklace

Prerequisites: None

Jewelry II: Intermediate Private Lesson

Starting at $400 per person

Topics are chosen on a student-by-student basis, depending on the interests and skill level of the individual. 

This class is 4 hours long and may include the following topics:

  • Prong setting
  • Findings, hinges, and clasps 
  • Surface textures and treatments 
  • Fabrication in gold
  • And more — please inquire for other specific topics. 

Prerequisites: Students must have completed Jewelry l with us or an equivalent through an accredited jewelry program.

Lapidary Basics

Starting at $225 per person

Learn a skill that many jewelers wish they had and anyone can enjoy! Learn how to transform rough stone into beautiful cabochons. Bring your own stones or use one of our many unique finds.

This class is 3 hours and covers the following topics:

  • Lapidary machine/safety/cleaning
  • Cutting, smoothing, and polishing rough stone

Prerequisites: None

Advanced Lapidary

Starting at $400 per person

Take your lapidary skills to the next level with our Advanced Lapidary workshop. Learn the tools & techniques needed to make a more intricate stone charm. 

This class is 4-5 hours long and covers the following topics:

  • Using a flex shaft tool to cut, smooth, polish, and meticulously carve detail in stone
  • Creating one of the following projects: fingers crossed good luck charm, mano figa protective hand, stone chain links

Prerequisites: Students must have completed Lapidary Basics with us, or an equivalent through an accredited jewelry program.
