Private Jewelry Making Lessons - Starting at $210 per person
This is a great option for beginners to advanced, particularly for students who wish to work on a specific topic and/or prefer to have uninhibited one-on-one instructor attention.
Topics are chosen on a student by student basis, based on the interests and skill levels of the individual. Topics range from beginning to advanced, and some more in depth topics include:
- Stone Setting
- Casting + Mold Making
- Surface Textures/treatments
Metalsmithing Basics for Beginners
Learn the basics of fabricating, designing, soldering, and polishing with silver.
Learn to make rings, earrings (other piercings), and necklaces. No experience required.
Silver and tools provided. Beginner students will not be permitted to work in any types of golds.
Private Lapidary Lessons - Starting at $180 per person
Learn an art skill that many Jewelers wish they had and anyone can enjoy!
Learn how to transform rough stone into beautiful, new cabochons or fine tune your Lapidary skills with an advanced hand carving course. As an experienced Lapidary Artist, I will be there to guide you every step of the way. Bring your own stones or use one of our many unique finds. Fees for both courses include all materials.
Introduction to Lapidary (3 hours):
- Beginners encouraged
- Learn Lapidary machine/safety/cleaning
- Cut, smooth, polish
- Transform a rough stone into a beautiful cabochon
Advanced Lapidary (5 hours):
- Intermediate to advanced Lapidary technique for those interested in taking their skills to the next level
- Choose from 4 "positive hand gestures" to carve. Peace sign, Fingers crossed good luck charm, "Okay" hand gesture, and Mano Figa protective hand.
- Cut, smooth, polish, and meticulously carve detail with a flex shaft
Three Hour Minimum for all lessons
It's simply too difficult to get anything accomplished during shorter time periods. Three hours is the standard amount of time allotted to a jewelry course.
Looking to book a group jewelry making event with us in our Framingham studio? Book our studio for a day and have some fun! We can accommodate up to 5 people at a time.
*All students must sign and complete a waiver before your course time. Must also present proof of vaccination or a negative covid test.*
