Ochoco Forest Ring

This ring was handmade by Allie using a self-collected/cut moss agate and sterling silver.

This particular stone was found in Badger Creek in Ochoco, OR. Moss agate forms with the help of silica-rich ground water that easily fills cracks and voids within volcanic rock. The beautiful greenish teal colors are a result of iron, chlorite, manganese and other minerals that can be found within the volcanic rock.
