Badger Creek Ring

This ring was handmade by Allie using a self-collected/cut piece of petrified wood and sterling silver.

This particular piece was collected in Badger Creek in Oregon. Petrified wood is formed over millions of years-silica rich volcanic ash slowly seeps into the wood and replaces all of it's once living cells with silica and other minerals, preserving it and leaving behind what looks to be like a fresh piece of wood.
