This ring is handmade by Allie using a vintage, carnelian intaglio and sterling silver. Intaglios are incised carvings in stone, shell and other hard material often times depicting a profile of a face. They were primarily used to stamp into softer material like wax or clay to leave an impression of the carving.
This ring currently fits a size 8 and can be sized up to an 11.
